Every year, Försäkringskassan makes about 20 million decisions that affect people's lives and the entire society. We disburse approximately 250 billion kronor each year. Therefore, we think innovatively and use the latest technology to simplify and improve, develop and deliver IT services for the Swedish social insurance. We are looking for several Java Developers for the Business Intelligence unit in Sundsvall, both experienced and fresh graduates. We work with the authority's Data Warehouse and services related to it. More and more of these are built in Java systems, and that is where your skills come into play. Among other things, we build systems to facilitate our control operations in detecting incorrect use of our benefit systems and tools to take action. The area is exciting and expansive, where you will quickly feel that you contribute and make a difference!

Requirements Management, Analysis, Fullstack Development, Test Automation

At Försäkringskassan's IT department, we work in agile teams. You are expected to take on various tasks in the development chain, such as requirements management, analysis, design, implementation including front end and back end, continuous integration, and developing manual and automated test cases.

The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper management. Therefore, it is important that you, who will work with us, have a high security awareness.

We are looking for someone who

• has a university degree or equivalent experience and qualifications
• has competence and expertise in Java programming or another object-oriented language deemed equivalent
• has recent experience in system development
• acts on their own initiative and takes responsibility for achieving good results
• collaborates effectively with others to achieve common goals
• has a systematic and meticulous working method
• can understand and analyze complex issues
• has good communication skills, both orally and in writing
• has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is a merit if you

• have a master's degree in engineering
• have experience with DevOps, container technology, or Openshift
• have experience in test-driven development (TDD)
• have experience with Java, Jenkins, Vue, DB2, Quarkus, or Kubernetes
• have experience working with several of the following: Eclipse, IntelliJ, Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Cucumber.

Two positions, permanent, full-time, with start date by agreement. A probationary period may be applicable.
