The Health and Care Administration, with its approximately 1,500 employees, is one of the administrations in Mölndal Municipality and covers elder care, disability support, and healthcare.
We are now looking for a Development Manager with a focus on data protection, information security, and digital development. The position is located within the Quality and Development Unit, where you will work strategically together with colleagues to strengthen the administration's development work and create prerequisites for a secure and efficient operation.

Responsibilities
As a Development Manager, you play a central role in supporting and developing the administration's work within data protection, information security, and digitalization. You work both strategically and operationally, serving as a support to managers and operations in matters concerning information management, regulations, and digital development.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinate and develop the administration's work within data protection and information security.
- Support operations in matters related to GDPR, information classification, risk analyses, impact assessments, and personal data management.
- Participate in and lead development and digitalization projects.
- Develop, create, and follow up on governing and supporting documents, routines, and working methods.
- Conduct analyses, investigations, and prepare decision support materials for the administration management and board.
- Monitor legislation, requirements, and trends within information security, data protection, and digitalization.
- Collaborate with the municipality's central functions within IT, security, data protection, legal affairs, and digital development.
The role involves many contact points and requires the ability to translate complex regulations and requirements into practical working methods that function in the operations.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is structured, analytical, and has a strong focus on development. You are accustomed to working independently, creating structure in complex issues, and building good collaborations. You have the ability to explain regulations and technical issues in a clear and pedagogical manner.
We are looking for you who have:
- Relevant higher education or university degree in areas such as information security, systems science, law, public administration, IT, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer.
- Experience in working with data protection (GDPR), information security, or digital development.
- Experience in leading or coordinating development and change work.
- Good ability to analyze, investigate, and prepare decision support materials.
- Very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish.
It is meritorious if you have:
- Experience working within a municipality, region, or other public sector operations.
- Knowledge of information classification, risk management, and system administration.
- Experience with digitalization projects or business development related to IT and digital solutions.
- Experience working with the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act and information management.
- Certification or education in information security or data protection.
Employment type: Permanent position.
