About the Role

As an employee in our HR department, you will join a team of 8 people working with HR and payroll. "Together" is a key word; we support and encourage each other, and we are eager to try new paths in our goal to be a developmental and attractive workplace. If you do not live in Mellerud, you can commute from both Gothenburg, Trollhättan, and Karlstad. If working here involves commuting for you, we use modern digital technology to offer you opportunities for a good work-life balance by allowing you to work remotely for certain periods.

Responsibilities

Mellerud Municipality is now looking for a driven and engaged HR Partner who is confident in their role and wants to contribute their experience and competence.

The role of HR Partner involves working closely with managers and offering consultative support in several areas of HR, such as working environment, rehabilitation, labor law, recruitment, redeployment, salary setting, and union cooperation, among others. In your role, you will also contribute to our strategic development work and ensure that we, as an employer, meet the requirements and policies imposed on us through laws, agreements, and political decisions.

We offer you a broad role in a small municipality where you become involved in everything concerning the area. Exchanging knowledge, opinions, and supporting each other in work is important to the group. At our workplace, you work with flexible working hours and freedom under responsibility.

The position is subject to organizational and economic decisions being made.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with a degree in personnel/behavioral science at the university level or equivalent as deemed by the employer. We see that you have several years of experience in the profession, preferably within the public sector. To succeed in this assignment, you need formal knowledge of labor law. It is a prerequisite for the job that you are receptive and can communicate in very good Swedish, both orally and in writing.

As a person, you have a consultative approach with high integrity. You work result- and goal-oriented and move easily from thought to action. We place great emphasis on personal suitability! Therefore, we ask for courage and wisdom when meeting and handling difficult situations, curiosity and a desire to sometimes try new approaches, stubbornness and perseverance, and a large dose of humor!
