The Axima Group is a machinery trading company active at 21 locations in the following counties: Västra Götaland, Värmland, northern Halland, Jönköping, Östergötland, Södermanland, Örebro, and Kalmar.
Axima's business idea is to provide farmers and contractors with rational machinery solutions and to offer professional service. Through commitment, knowledge, and service, we create competitive added value for our customers. We have approximately 300 employees and a turnover of approximately 1.6 billion SEK. We primarily represent world-leading brands such as Case IH, New Holland, JCB, Krone, Toro, Bergmann, Husqvarna, Polaris, Suzuki, Isuzu, and others.
In this role, we welcome you to a company with a historically strong growth trajectory and a corporate culture characterized by entrepreneurship, development, and expansion. As part of our continued growth journey, we are now looking for an Economic and Process Developer who wants to help develop the finance function of the future together with us. The implementation of a new business system has been completed, and the focus is now on further developing processes and working methods. We therefore offer a role where you have the opportunity to combine qualified accounting with business development and be an important part of creating the conditions for the Group's continued success.
Responsibilities
We offer you a broad and developmental role where, in close collaboration with the Group's Financial Manager, you contribute to developing the finance department's strategic and operational work based on the business and the finance department's workflows. Using your accounting expertise as a foundation, you identify opportunities for improvement and drive the development of processes, system support, and routines to create increased quality, efficiency, and business benefit.
The responsibilities include among other things:
- Responsibility for monitoring ongoing accounting together with the rest of the accounting team
- Analysis and preparation of monthly and annual accounts in close collaboration with the Financial Manager
- Preparation of annual reports for the Group and legal entities
- Income tax and VAT returns
- Support and act as a sounding board for other work groups within the department based on your expertise in accounting, tax, and system understanding.
- Contact with authorities and external parties such as the Swedish Tax Agency, the Swedish Companies Registration Office, etc.
The role offers great variety, where accounting, analysis, business understanding, and development work go hand in hand. You will also be an important resource in connection with future projects, e.g., within integration, business flows, and potential acquisitions, where the finance department plays a central role in creating efficient and sustainable structures.
The position is new within the Group, giving you a unique opportunity to help shape the role based on the business's needs and your strengths. As the Group continues to develop, areas of responsibility and content may also evolve, creating good opportunities for both influence and personal development.
Profile
We are looking for you who have an academic education in economics combined with several years of experience in qualified accounting work. You have a secure foundation in accounting and closing, but are also driven by developing processes, working methods, and system support.
To succeed in the role, we believe you have:
- Extensive knowledge of accounting according to K3 as well as experience with closing, annual reports, VAT, and tax issues
- Experience in financial analysis, monitoring, and reporting
- Interest in digitalization and experience in developing processes, working methods, and business systems
- Very good skills in Excel as well as a good understanding of business systems, with previous experience of M3 being meritorious.
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
We place great emphasis on your personal qualities and are looking for someone who is self-reliant and responsible with a natural drive to improve and develop. You thrive in a role where you get to combine analysis with execution and monitoring while having the ability to switch between details and the overall perspective.
We also believe that you are:
- Analytical and structured
- Initiative-taking and solution-oriented
- Communicative and non-hierarchical
- Curious about the business and its flows
- A team player who enjoys collaborating and sharing your expertise
