About the Role

Our client is a global provider of propulsion systems and power solutions for marine and industrial applications. As a Services Owner, you will drive the development of the client's aftermarket offering by combining business development, strategy, and operational execution. You will work closely with both global and local stakeholders in an international organization and be responsible for initiatives from analysis and concept development to implementation and launch.

The assignment primarily involves developing scalable and market-adapted service agreements, establishing processes for monitoring connected devices, and supporting the commercialization and global rollout of the company's Connectivity Services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead feasibility studies and prepare decision-making materials for MVP development.
  • Conduct market analyses from both customer and distributor perspectives.
  • Develop business plans, business cases, and profitability analyses.
  • Drive continuous improvement work together with relevant stakeholders to ensure a working method that works for both central teams and local market units.
  • Support the commercialization and global rollout of Connectivity Services by developing Go-to-Market strategies, launch plans, and sales and marketing materials.
  • Plan and execute pilots, identify areas for improvement, and ensure that markets have the right prerequisites.
  • Define KPIs, establish monitoring structures, and drive continuous development based on results and feedback.

This is a full-time consulting assignment starting September 1, 2026, and running until April 30, 2027. The work is performed on-site, although some travel may be required to visit distributors and/or customers.

Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for you who have a solid background in business development and strategy and thrive on driving initiatives from analysis and concept development to implementation. You are self-motivated, proactive, and work in a structured manner with a strong focus on results. At the same time, you are curious, solution-oriented, and have a good ability to build trusting relationships with various stakeholders.

You combine a strategic perspective with an operational approach and are accustomed to communicating and presenting to senior decision-makers. To thrive in this role, you need to appreciate an international environment where close collaboration, change management, and an iterative working method are a natural part of everyday life. You also have the ability to balance global guidelines with local needs and translate strategies into concrete results.

Qualifications:

  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in business development and strategy or similar roles.
  • Documented experience in developing business plans and business cases.
  • Experience in change management, process development, go-to-market strategies, and commercialization.
  • Good understanding of digital services and data-driven offerings.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
  • Advantageous with experience from aftermarket and service businesses.
  • Advantageous with experience in B2B operations and indirect sales models.
