At Poseidon, we have an important mission to create security and well-being for our tenants and the people of Gothenburg. We are now looking for an economist with a focus on rent administration and an interest in property systems.
In your role as an economist with a primary focus on rent administration with us, you will become an important support to our districts within rent administration and revenue analysis. One of your tasks will also be to contribute to our project for the implementation of a new property system regarding the rent administrative part and its connection to accounting, and to support the organization in these parts of the system.
You will become part of the group of economists and controllers in the company, with continuous and organized exchange and collaboration. You belong to the central finance department at our headquarters in Gamlestaden and report to the company's Finance Director.
Your Profile
We are looking for you who are an economist and have some form of post-secondary education or equivalent experience. You should have worked in the property industry with similar tasks for a few years and have good knowledge of rent administration. You should have knowledge of accounting and a good understanding of the connection between rent administration and the income statement.
Your tasks include among other things:
- Rent administration primarily linked to new construction and renovation projects
- Setting up objects, rents, and discounts in the property system in connection with new production and renovation on behalf of the districts.
- Maintain and develop routines and manuals.
- Train newly hired economists in the property system.
- Assist with testing within rent administration during system upgrades.
- Act as backup for other central tasks within rent administration.
- Analyze and control the status of our rental properties.
- Actively participate in the project regarding the new property system and contribute knowledge within rent administration.
- Assist with revenue analyses both at a general level and down to the property level.
- Assist with documentation for property valuation.

- You have the ability to understand and familiarize yourself with systems from a business perspective, specifically within rent administration.

- You have a knack for systematically and structurally driving issues forward, with the precision required for the best results.
- You enjoy supporting the business within your area and have good communication skills.
- It is an advantage if you have experience with the property system Fast2 or similar, as well as experience with Agresso/Unit4.
