About the role

We are currently looking for a temporary Communications Specialist for our client in the water and wastewater sector, based in Gothenburg.

As a Communications Specialist, you will have a broad and varied role involving both internal and external communication. In your daily work, you will plan, produce, and publish content for digital channels, develop communication on the website and intranet, and create engaging content for social media. You will also serve as a communication support for managers and employees, contributing to the development of the organization's communication in various contexts.

You will work closely with the Head of Communications and become a key part of the daily communication efforts. The role involves many contact points and offers the opportunity to work with everything from content production and graphic material to employer branding and communication support. This is a role for you who thrives in a varied daily routine where you can combine strategic thinking with operational execution, and where no two days are alike.

The position is a full-time temporary consulting assignment starting in late August and is expected to last for 12 months. The work is primarily performed on-site at the client's premises in Gothenburg.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, produce, and publish content for social media.
• Create and update content for the website and intranet.
• Write and edit texts for internal and external communication channels.
• Provide support to managers and employees on communication matters.
• Produce simple graphic materials and communication assets.
• Contribute to recruitment communication and employer branding efforts.

About you

We are looking for you who are an independent and proactive Communications Specialist with a genuine interest in creating engaging content. You have strong communication skills, are a skilled writer, and have the ability to adapt messages to different target groups and channels.

You thrive in a role with many contact points, are organized in your approach, and have the ability to handle multiple tasks in parallel. At the same time, you are unpretentious, team-oriented, and enjoy contributing to the organization's development through clear and relevant communication.

Requirements

• University degree in Media and Communication Studies or another education considered equivalent.
• A few years of experience working as a Communications Specialist.
• Experience working with social media and other digital channels.
• Excellent ability to write target-group-specific and engaging texts in Swedish.
• Experience working with WordPress and SharePoint.
• Good knowledge of graphic production and the Adobe Creative Suite.
