Job Coach / Transition Coach

Through coaching, guidance, and close collaboration with employers, you will help our participants take the next step towards a new future. About the position The position is a combined role where you will work both within TSL (transition support) and Rusta och Matcha (Prepare and Match). The work involves frequent travel, and part of your time will be spent staffing our office in Västra Frölunda. Within TSL – Transition Support You coach individuals who have been laid off due to a lack of work and are covered by the collective agreement's transition support via TSL. You work based on TSL regulations and our proven methods to help participants move forward into new employment. The work involves among other things:

  • conducting individual coaching sessions
  • creating action plans
  • establishing and developing contacts with employers
  • documenting and administering participants' interventions
  • supporting participants throughout the entire transition process.
Within Rusta och Matcha

As a job coach and supervisor, you help job seekers within the Swedish Public Employment Service's service "Rusta och Matcha" to move forward into work or studies as quickly as possible. In this role, you will among other things:

  • hold individual coaching sessions
  • help participants write CVs and cover letters
  • conduct seminars and group activities
  • organize study visits and employer meetings
  • build and develop employer networks
  • document and report according to the Swedish Public Employment Service's requirements.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Qualifications Work Experience You have:

  • at least seven years of work experience equivalent to full-time, including at least three years as a coach,
  • meet the Swedish Public Employment Service's competence requirements through relevant education and current work experience as described below.
Education

You meet one of the following alternatives: Alternative 1 At least 120 higher education credits (80 credits under the old system) or equivalent education from a University College within areas such as:

  • personnel and working life
  • study and career guidance
  • business administration
  • psychology
  • behavioral science
  • pedagogy
  • social sciences
  • occupational therapy or social work education.

Plus at least two years of current full-time work experience in the field within the last five years. Alternative 2 At least one year of post-secondary studies with a passing grade, plus at least three years of current full-time work experience in areas such as:

  • work leadership with personnel responsibility
  • recruitment
  • transition work
  • study and career guidance
  • processing of personnel matters
  • social and group psychology
  • career guidance.

The work experience must have been obtained within the last five years. We are also looking for you who have:

  • very good computer skills
  • good administrative skills
  • experience working in digital systems and job seeker databases
  • good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
Merits

It is an advantage if you have:

  • experience with TSL, Rusta och Matcha, KROM, or STOM
  • Category B driver's license and access to a personal car
  • additional language skills.

  • Permanent position, always starting with a 6-month probationary period
