We are currently looking for a temporary Communications Specialist for a full-time assignment with our client in Gothenburg. The assignment is a temporary position of approximately one year. We are now looking for a consultant who wants to work broadly with both internal and external communication in an organization where communication is an important part of daily operations.

As a Communications Specialist, you will work closely with the Communications Manager and support the organization's managers and employees in various communication matters. The role is varied and covers everything from content production for the web, intranet, and social media to graphic production and communication support in various projects and activities.

Examples of tasks include:

• Create content and manage ongoing updates of the website and intranet.
• Be responsible for planning, production, and follow-up of content in social media.
• Provide support to managers and employees in communication matters.
• Help HR communicate open positions.
• Create graphic material and layout, and coordinate production with an external communications agency.
• Work closely with the Communications Manager in ongoing communication work.

The role involves significant personal responsibility and many contact points, which requires both initiative and good collaboration skills.

We are looking for someone who has:

• A university degree in Media and Communication Studies or equivalent education/experience.
• Several years of experience working as a Communications Specialist.
• Very good ability to write clear and engaging texts in Swedish.
• Experience working with social media and other digital communication channels.
• Experience with WordPress and SharePoint.
• Good knowledge of graphic production and mastery of the basics of Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience adapting communication to different target groups.

Meritorious:

• Experience filming, editing, and producing short videos for social media.
• Experience in communication work within the public sector.
• Knowledge of web accessibility.

You will be employed as a consultant by Jurek and work on assignment with our client in Gothenburg. The assignment is full-time and covers a temporary position of approximately one year, starting in late August. The work is performed primarily on-site at the client's premises, but there may be some possibility of remote work in the future.
