About the Role

As an HSE Specialist, you will be part of a small HR team where you are responsible for the company's work within health, safety, and environment. The role is independent and involves driving and developing HSE work while collaborating closely with technicians, safety representatives, and functions within quality and facilities.

The main focus of the role is to ensure that operations comply with current legal requirements and to drive preventive occupational health and safety work. This means you will work with everything from risk assessments, safety rounds, and follow-up of sick leave to supporting operations in occupational health and safety matters and identifying improvement measures.

The tasks include, among other things:

• Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety and environmental legislation.
• Driving and developing the company's occupational health and safety work.
• Conducting risk assessments and safety rounds.
• Investigating accidents, near-misses, and work-related injuries.
• Training managers and employees in occupational health and safety.
• Monitoring key figures within safety and environment.
• Coordinating certifications such as ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Supporting operations in matters regarding chemical management, machine safety, and environmental impact.

We are looking for you who

• Have at least 5 years of prior experience in a similar role within industry or manufacturing.
• Have good knowledge of Swedish occupational health and safety and environmental legislation.
• Have experience working with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.

Job Details

This is a long-term consulting assignment, initially with employment through OIO. The intention thereafter is for the employment to transfer to our partner.
