With 24/7 readiness, clinics across the country, and unique knowledge of animal health, we contribute to healthier animals and a more secure life. As district veterinarians, we work on behalf of private individuals, companies, and authorities. We offer socially vital services for emergency animal healthcare, disease control, and preventive measures for good animal health. Always with our feet on the ground and our hearts in the right place. Distriktsveterinärerna is part of the Swedish Board of Agriculture.

In Stenungsund, we have a mixed practice with many different animal species. The distribution is approximately 40% small animals, 50% horses, and 10% production animals. For small animals, we perform everything from vaccinations, preventive care, and examinations to surgeries in a well-equipped operating room and dental treatments under gas anesthesia. For production animals, we work with castrations, dehorning, sample collection, etc. For horses, tasks may include dental treatments, lameness examinations, castrations, vaccinations, and inspections. At the equine clinic, we have access to endoscopes/gastrosopes, X-ray, ultrasound, and an objective motion analysis system. There are blood analysis machines in a small lab.

At the clinic, we currently have 13 veterinarians, one licensed veterinary nurse, and eight animal care assistants.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a service-oriented receptionist for our clinic in Stenungsund who can strengthen our team by providing our customers with the best possible experience.

You will work primarily in our reception and manage our shop. This includes among other things:

• Welcoming our customers and patients and handling payments.
• Managing appointments and answering questions via phone.
• Ensuring the clinic is kept clean and fresh through daily cleaning, dishwashing, laundry, and restocking of materials.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are passionate about service and have the ability to spread positive energy while maintaining a professional appearance. It is important that you enjoy interacting with people, are self-motivated, and work in a structured and meticulous manner. You thrive in a work environment where no two days are alike and you are not afraid to pitch in where needed.

We assume that you:

• Have good judgment, are flexible, structured, and take initiative.
• Have good teamwork skills and are also self-motivated.
• Are accustomed to dealing with customers and have phone experience.

Requirements for the position:

• Upper secondary education.
• Valid driver's license (Category B).
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Good oral proficiency in English.

Meritorious:

• Experience from service industries.
• Previous work in reception.
• Previous experience within animal healthcare.
• Good experience in cleaning and hygiene work within healthcare or similar.

Salary range: 24,500 SEK – 28,500 SEK

Salary type: Monthly salary.
Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: Start date: 2026-10-01 according to agreement or October 1st, end date: 2028-05-31.
Working hours: Daytime.
