Accounting Manager at Götenehus

Do you want to take overall responsibility for accounting in a dynamic group of companies and contribute to development and efficiency? Götenehus is now looking for an engaged and business-oriented Accounting Manager.

About the role

As Accounting Manager, you have a central role in the finance function with significant independent responsibility. You work closely with your colleagues and are a key person in the company's financial reporting and the development of accounting processes.

You will also become a key player in Götenehus's continued development and help create a modern finance function 2.0. Together with colleagues in finance and other departments, you will drive the development of working methods, processes, and decision support in an organization characterized by growth and change.

Responsibilities

• Independently prepare monthly and annual accounts as well as associated reporting packages.
• Together with the Finance Director and Controller, be responsible for the group's annual reports.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets.
• Conduct cost and profitability analyses to support business decisions.
• Ensure correct group consolidation and reporting in accordance with IFRS, K3, or other applicable regulations.
• Be responsible for VAT and tax declarations.
• Act as the contact person for auditors.
• Support audits and quality-assure financial reports.
• Drive and own improvement initiatives within routines, processes, and system support.
• Contribute to the development of more efficient working methods within the accounting area.
• Provide strategic advice on complex accounting issues.

Your profile

To succeed in the role, we see that you have:

• Relevant post-secondary education in economics/finance.
• Several years of experience in qualified accounting work.
• Very good knowledge of group accounting and the regulations IFRS/K3.
• Very good system proficiency and advanced knowledge of Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems (preferably Monitor or similar).

Your personal characteristics are characterized by being analytical and structured with a good understanding of the business. You communicate clearly but also have the ability to explain complex matters in a simple way. You will belong to a group of four people where everyone takes initiative and is responsible for their stated areas of responsibility, but where no one hesitates to help each other when needed. Last but not least, you must thrive and be driven by working with development and improvement.

Scope: The position is a permanent full-time employment (Monday–Friday).

Salary: Monthly salary.

Start date: As soon as possible or by agreement.
