Do you want to build the business at one of Sweden's most exciting defense technology companies, rather than just manage it?
Frost Unmanned is developing the next generation of unmanned systems for the defense and security market: high-speed UAVs and unmanned surface vehicles that are already undergoing live evaluation with several European armed forces. At the same time, we are continuously expanding new systems and capabilities in close collaboration with end-users in the field. We are a small, fast-paced team with short decision-making paths and international ambitions. Commercially, we are in the early stages: interest and early traction exist, but the major sales volume remains to be built. Therefore, we are looking for our first dedicated business role: a hungry Head of Business Development who will take that early traction and build the business for real, owning the pipeline and the deal from first contact to contract.
About the RoleYou will report directly to the CEO and own the commercial execution. This is not a strategy role behind a desk. You drive sales campaigns yourself: you identify customers, make the first contact, book meetings, fly to them, conduct demonstrations, and drive the business to agreement. The focus markets are the Nordics, the Baltics, and Ukraine, with the opportunity to gradually expand into more markets.
As we are a small company, you also own our market presence: trade shows, demonstrations, LinkedIn, and customer materials. As the pipeline grows, you will build your own team, starting with a junior sales analyst as the first hire within 12 months.
Your Responsibilities- Drive outbound sales campaigns targeting armed forces, government agencies, and industry partners, from cold first contact to signed contract.
- Own and maintain the entire pipeline in our CRM (Pipedrive) with high and measurable activity levels.
- Respond to RFIs and RFQs together with the CEO and engineering team.
- Represent Frost Unmanned at customer meetings, field demonstrations, and international trade shows.
- Establish local partnerships that strengthen our presence in priority markets.
- Feed customer insights and operational requirements back to the development team.
- Own the company's marketing in a lightweight format: trade show planning, LinkedIn, presentations, and demo materials.
- Has approximately 4 to 8 years of experience in sales or business development with proven campaign experience, preferably within defense, security, or another technical B2G/B2B environment.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment with high personal activity: many contacts, many trips, and many irons in the fire simultaneously.
- Understands how armed forces and government agencies make decisions, or is hungry enough to learn quickly.
- Works structured in a CRM and sees activity data as a tool, not a burden.
- Has excellent communication skills in Swedish and English.
- Has a valid driver's license (Category B) and is willing to travel extensively.
- Background as a reserve officer, officer, or soldier, preferably with experience from UAS, marine systems, or command and control systems.
- Experience with export and defense procurement (FMV, NSPA, or equivalent).
- Additional languages relevant to the Baltics or Ukraine.

Security ClearanceThe position is classified. Employment requires a successful security clearance with register check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585). Swedish citizenship may be required depending on the assignment.
