Stenungsund Municipality is an expanding coastal municipality with approximately 28,030 inhabitants, a strong business community, residential environments close to the sea, and good transport links. The municipality's vision is to reach 35,000 inhabitants by 2035. Stenungsund Municipality is part of the Gothenburg Region Municipal Association, which serves as a forum for cooperation and experience sharing, as well as in several other inter-municipal collaborations.
The Contact Center is the municipality's common entry point for residents, entrepreneurs, and visitors. Here, we work to provide accessible, professional, and efficient high-quality service. Organizationally, the unit belongs to the Administration and Digitalization function within the Support Functions sector.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Municipal Guide, you are an important part of the municipality's face to the outside world and often the first point of contact for residents, entrepreneurs, and visitors.
Your mission is to provide information, guidance, and service in matters concerning the municipality's various operations. You meet people in different life situations and help them find their way, resolve their cases, or get in touch with the right function.
The work is primarily carried out via telephone, but you will also meet visitors at the reception and handle questions via email and digital channels.
The position also includes:
- Handling incoming questions, cases, and applications.
- Performing simple case processing and administrative work.
- Providing support and service to the municipality's operations through internal service.
- Working with cases in several operational areas, including waste management issues.
- Contributing to the development of the Contact Center and the municipality's service offering.
The work is conducted according to a rolling schedule where staffing for customer service via telephony and reception is distributed among employees.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who has:
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field or other education and experience that the employer deems equivalent.
- Very good ability to express yourself orally and in writing in Swedish and English.
- Good digital competence and experience working in various operational systems.
It is meritorious if you have:
- Experience working in customer service, contact centers, reception, or other service operations, preferably with the telephone as the primary work tool.
- Experience working with waste management issues.
- Knowledge of or experience with municipal operations and public administration.
- Experience with administration and case processing.
- Experience working in the systems Open-E, Telia Touchpoint, and EDP.
- Experience with communication via web or other digital channels.

You easily adapt to new issues, absorb information, and convey it in a clear and pedagogical manner. You are accustomed to working digitally and feel comfortable handling several different systems simultaneously.
