About the Job

Social Secretary for a new specialist team focusing on children and young people with norm-breaking behavior and criminality.

Do you want to be part of building something completely new? Youth crime is becoming increasingly complex, and the demands on social services are increasing. Therefore, we are now launching a new, specialized team within the Children and Young People Investigation Unit – and we want you on this journey.

This is not just any position. We are expanding our staff and creating a team consisting of four social secretaries and one senior social secretary. Our mission is clear: to work accurately, long-term, and sustainably to reduce new recruitment into crime and recidivism.

Through rapid and coordinated interventions, we make a difference for young people and their families, with the goal of providing the right intervention at the right time.

Responsibilities

In the role of social secretary, you work closely with young people, their networks, and important societal actors. Your main responsibilities are:

• Investigation and follow-up of interventions for young people involved in crime or at high risk of norm-breaking behavior.
• Handling youth sanctions, including statements, planning, and follow-up.
• Close collaboration with schools, police, prosecutors, and other external partners.
• Actively developing and shaping the unit's new way of working together with the team.

We Are Looking For

To thrive and succeed in the role, we see that you are confident in pressured situations and have a good ability to make decisions. You are skilled at combining structure in official duties with genuine relationship-building work.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Degree in Social Work, Social Pedagogy from university, or other academic education deemed equivalent.
• Several years of current experience in official duties concerning children and young people.
• Category B driver's license

Merits:

• Experience working with young people in crime or in the risk zone of entering it.
