Spinnmästarevägen is a group home focused on target group 1 (adults with intellectual disabilities). The facility will have 6 apartments and is located in Mölndal Municipality.

About the Role of Support Pedagogue

As a Support Pedagogue, you will provide support and services based on the residents' wishes, both in the home and during leisure activities. You will contribute to ensuring that residents have the opportunity for an active and meaningful life. Furthermore, you must be able to address each individual's specific needs and conduct pedagogical work based on these needs. Since the needs vary among residents, no two days are alike, contributing to a challenging and exciting job.

You will work closely with the residents alongside your colleagues and have significant responsibility for driving and developing the pedagogical work at the facility, in consultation with the operations manager. Some delegated health and medical care tasks are included in the role.

Qualifications

You are relationship-building, calm, stable, and able to maintain a realistic perspective on situations that arise in daily work. You have good collaboration skills, relate to others in a listening manner, and enjoy working with others. You are an independent, humble, and responsible person who is passionate about care work and can identify individual needs.

Requirements:

• A degree from a Support Pedagogue program (200 YH credits) or 60 ECTS credits within pedagogy.
• Experience and knowledge of the target group LSS adults, target group 1.
• Basic knowledge of household tasks such as cooking and hygiene.
• Computer proficiency and good command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

Meritorious if you additionally have:

• Experience in leadership.
• Experience working with people with autism and challenging behavior.
• Experience working with individuals with complex psychosocial behavioral issues.
• Experience with clarifying communication and low-affective approaches.

Working hours: Varied working hours. Day, evening, and weekend shifts.
Start date: According to agreement; we view it positively if you can start soon.
Collective agreement: We are bound by collective agreements with Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Sector E.
