The Health and Social Care Administration, with its approximately 1,500 employees, is one of the administrations in Mölndal Municipality and covers elderly care, disability support, and health care.

Konditorivägen is a group home in Lindome for young adults with neuropsychiatric disabilities, substance abuse, mental health issues such as psychosis, and self-harm issues. There are six apartments with private entrances and outdoor areas, as well as common spaces. The tenants are high-functioning users with complex needs who receive individually adapted support in their daily lives with the goal of becoming independent. We work with low-affective handling and other evidence-based methods to create a safe and stable environment. Those of us who work here are a team of ten engaged individuals who share knowledge, develop together, and support each other in situations that can sometimes be very demanding. RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Support Pedagogue, you play a key role in the operation's quality work, methods, and approach. You are responsible for the pedagogical work and are a knowledge resource in the work team. You act as support and mentor for the work group and also serve as support for the manager. You supervise the work group based on the operation's needs and methods. You ensure that social documentation and implementation plans according to IBIC are established, further developed, and followed in accordance with laws and guidelines. The role of Support Pedagogue also includes collaboration with other key persons from our operations, and you contribute to strengthening cooperation forms.

You are responsible for method meetings and other competence development and are confident in leading groups. As support, you are offered guidance from a method developer, and you are part of a network with other Support Pedagogues in the field.

You also participate in direct work and support users with social and practical interventions both in and outside the home. You provide professional support by strengthening the user in their daily life. All work is based on the user's individually prepared implementation plan. Some users have pets. Verbal threats and suicide attempts occur frequently, but we have methods to handle this.

We work with operation-adapted and influenceable schedules. The need is continuously adapted to the operation's needs, which means you need to be prepared to work during the day, evening, weekend, and on-call sleeping duty.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who

• Have adequate post-secondary education as a Support Pedagogue or other education that the employer considers equivalent.
• Have knowledge and experience in self-harm behavior, suicide prevention, and psychiatric conditions such as EIPS, depression, and PTSD.
• Have experience working with people with neuropsychiatric disabilities.
• Have good knowledge of LAB (Low-Affective Handling), ESL (An Independent Life), and MI (Motivational Interviewing).
• Have knowledge of pedagogical approaches.
• Have training in handling threats and violence.
• Have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.

It is meritorious if you have training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and experience working with Timecare and Treserva. Since it can be difficult to get to the unit with public transport at certain times, it is good if you have a driver's license and access to your own car.
