Description

The Social Work Unit consists of a total of 4 social workers. At the hospital, we work on the somatic wards with a focus on geriatrics with a stroke unit, medicine, surgery, and orthopedics. We also work with the hospital's various clinics, such as the medicine, surgery, and gynecology clinics, and are part of several teams at the hospital.

Organizationally, the social work team belongs to the Rehabilitation Unit together with occupational therapy, physiotherapy, speech therapy, dietetics, stroke home rehabilitation team, mobile palliative team, and pain unit. The Rehabilitation Unit is part of the business area Geriatrics, Neurology, and Rehabilitation within Hospitals in the West.

Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for a colleague who can strengthen the team for a limited period.

We offer an interesting and stimulating job in a great team! As a social worker at the Rehabilitation Unit, you work with the somatic wards and clinics at the hospital and meet both patients and relatives who need crisis and support conversations. Teamwork is something we value highly, and as a social worker at the unit, you collaborate with different teams at the hospital, both within and outside the unit. In addition to a good working climate, there is a lot of experience within the work group, where there is great opportunity for exchange of competence and knowledge! Of course, the social workers help each other, and if necessary, the tasks from the somatic wards, clinics, ICU, and emergency department are distributed among them.

Qualifications

You must be a licensed healthcare social worker or a social worker with a few years of experience in the profession and have worked with crisis and support conversations.

We are looking for you who are professional, responsible, and have a good ability to structure and prioritize your work. You are proactive, flexible, and enjoy working both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues from different professional groups. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability. A B-class driver's license is an advantage.

Scope of Employment

Part-time, max until 2027-01-31.
