About the position

Personal assistance is a service under LSS (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Functioning Impairments). In your role as a personal assistant, you will primarily help the client with everything that arises in daily life as well as with basic needs. Your work involves safeguarding the client's self-determination and integrity, and contributing to a smooth daily routine. Each assistance assignment is uniquely adapted to the client's life, so tasks may vary depending on the workplace.

The client is a cheerful 31-year-old woman who lives with her family in Torslanda. She has Angelman syndrome and needs help with everything in her daily life, from personal care, exercise, and communication to household chores and activities both inside and outside the home.

Who are you?

The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is sensitive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you as the assistant and the client.

Requirements for the position:

• Good knowledge of Swedish

Working hours, employment degree, and salary

The current form of employment is "hourly employment," which means working as needed with varying hours during planned and unplanned absences of regular staff. Shifts are either 06:15–15:00 or 15:00–21:30 on weekdays, and 08:30–21:30 on weekends. For the right person, a permanent position may be offered in the autumn.

Fixed hourly wage by agreement, and other benefits are paid according to the collective agreement.

Start date: By agreement.
