Are you our new star?

The Regional Area Västfastigheter, Construction and Management holds overall customer responsibility and acts as the property owner's representative in matters concerning the region's property portfolio. We provide premises for the region's operations. The Property Administration Unit, part of Västfastigheter Construction and Management, supports the regional area with consistent, efficient, and quality-assured administrative competence. We are now looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our team!

Job Description

At the Property Administration Unit, 20 employees currently work, divided into teams based on competence areas. You will join the Economic Support Team, where your main tasks will involve reviewing, coding, and following up on complex construction project invoices for property managers and project leaders. Other administrative tasks supporting the organization's economic work are also included.

We continuously evaluate our working methods and adjust them to support administrative work in the best possible way, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and quality assurance. This means that tasks may evolve over time.

Responsibilities may expand to include supporting managers and project leaders with forecasting and budgeting, as well as preparing and, to some extent, leading economic meetings with managers and project leaders.

Travel within the region is part of the role. We prefer using public transport for travel. The position is located at Regionens Hus in Uddevalla or Gothenburg.

About You

We are looking for someone with experience working in a politically governed organization and who holds at least a three-year relevant post-secondary education. You have extensive experience working with property issues and economics related to large construction projects. Experience working with construction project managers or property managers, or having held such roles yourself, is considered an advantage.

You have good knowledge of the Office suite, with a focus on Excel. You have experience working in the Raindance system and have solid experience reviewing complex construction project invoices. You also have knowledge of budgeting and forecasting for projects in the construction industry.

As your role involves many contact points, you must have excellent collaboration skills and a holistic mindset, contributing to the regional area's common goals. You communicate well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and are meticulous and structured in your work approach. Furthermore, you are solution-oriented and capable of identifying effective solutions. Since we need to be flexible and adaptable on short notice to step in during peak workloads, the ability to handle this and high work pressure is required.

Recruitment Process

In this process, we do not require a cover letter. Instead, we ask you to answer a number of questions when you register your application. Please answer in detail, as we conduct our initial selection based on your responses. We appreciate that you formulate your answers in a way that shows your personal writing and communication style. After the final application deadline, we will contact candidates who are suitable for a first interview.

As the position can be located in several municipalities, the advertisement has been published multiple times (ref no. 2026/3641, ref no. 2026/3676). The advertisements lead to the same application form. You choose which municipality is relevant for you when registering your application.
