In the Interreg project Forest to Chair, you will lead exploratory processes together with companies that want to transition and create truly circular solutions. We are looking for you who are passionate about innovation, wood, and sustainable development – and who want to make a concrete difference in a changing industry.
HDK-Valand is now seeking an engaged and driven project manager who will work as a process leader (employment 50%) with responsibility for the production work packages. The role is central to the project and involves leading exploratory and innovation-driven activities for small and medium-sized enterprises in wood-based interior production.
The position is located at Campus Steneby in Dals Långed, but some working time may be spent at HDK-Valand's premises in Gothenburg. The activities are expected to be carried out both digitally and on-site.

Job Description
As a process leader, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on the production work packages. This means that among other things, you:
- Design programs and activities based on the project's goals and research-based methodology.
- Recruit participating companies.
- Identify and hire relevant competencies/speakers.
- Lead and facilitate activities and workshops.
- Ensure that practical parts work: booking of premises, material purchases, digital meetings, etc.
- Maintain ongoing dialogue with the project manager and other process leaders.
- Communicate with participants and provide them with the information they need.
- Manage the work package budget and report results.
- Share experiences with the corresponding Norwegian work package.
- Conduct follow-up with participants 6 months after the program ends.
In addition to the operational work, administrative tasks are also included, primarily planning, documentation, and ongoing reporting of the work package's results. This is done in close collaboration with the project controller to ensure high quality and continuity in the follow-up.
An important part of the role is the horizontal activities, where you, together with other process leaders, participate in joint working groups. Here, experiences, knowledge, and results are shared between the different parts of the project, and joint activities – such as lectures, workshops, or study visits affecting several work packages – are coordinated as needed.
All of the project's activities are based on research and proven experience, and you will be introduced to the methodology that permeates the entire program. During the work, you will receive pedagogical support to discuss, develop, and refine the design and implementation of the activities.
