As a communicator in Backa Pastorate, you are passionate about spreading the church's message through various channels. You possess broad competence and master communication systems for both digital and print media, such as InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and social media (primarily Facebook and Instagram). You have an eye for color, form, and layout and quickly learn new systems.

You will work alongside a colleague who has overall responsibility for communication efforts. In your role, you work both independently and in teams, efficiently and ready to step in where needed.

Main Responsibilities

Website management, graphic production, print and digital advertising, and social media. The work is largely driven by the needs of the pastorate and its parishes. Some administrative tasks and internal communication are also included in the role.

Who are you?

The right person for this role is a member of the Church of Sweden and shares its value base. You have relevant education from a university college or university. You are skilled at creating materials suitable for both print and digital formats and have a sense for adapting your expression to the organization. You are methodical and meticulous, even at a high pace. Proficiency in spoken and written Swedish is required.

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in communication
• Valid driver's license and access to a car

About Backa Pastorate

Backa Pastorate is located on eastern Hisingen and consists of two parishes: Tuve-Säve and Backa. Tuve-Säve Parish includes Tuve Church, Glöstorpskyrkan, Kärra Church, Säve Church, and Rödbo Church. Backa Parish includes Backa Church and Brunnsbokyrkan. The area features a mix of apartment blocks from the Million Programme, condominiums, and villas, as well as forested areas and rural landscapes.

Backa Pastorate operates four preschools located near the churches in Backa, Säve, Kärra, and Tuve.
