Markverkstad Skövde is a department within the Army Workshops Unit, which belongs to the Army Staff. We perform maintenance on the Swedish Armed Forces' ground equipment and air base equipment, and deliver technical system support. This involves maintenance in the form of supervision, repairs, manufacturing, dismantling/scraping, modifications, operational support, technical adaptation, and equipment inspection. The Army Workshops Unit delivers services according to customer requirements.
Markverkstad Skövde has approximately 220 employees who operate in Skövde and Kristinehamn. This position is based in Skövde, but you will support both Skövde and Kristinehamn.
Main Responsibilities
As a Production Administrator at Mv Skövde, you will work with production support for our workshop and be part of the resources in the workshop's management. It is a varied job where no day is like the other. The position involves a wide variety of tasks with significant personal responsibility, giving you the opportunity to make your own decisions. This means extensive contact and networking within the garrison as well as with various authorities, and acting as a support to the workshop managers.
You will, among other things:
- Drive local infrastructure matters related to orders and contacts with the Swedish Transport Administration (Trafikverket).
- Work administratively in the Office suite and create preventive maintenance for our buildings and machinery.
- Work with issues regarding the maintenance of buildings and machinery.
- Handle orders, invoices, and support with cost control for the workshop.
- Work with the workshop's investments and development work.
- Work with requisitions and orders of various goods and services.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Completed 2- or 3-year upper secondary education or vocational experience that the employer assesses as equivalent.
- Experience working as an administrator or in a similar role.
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- Good computer skills and good knowledge of the MS Office suite.
- Category B driver's license.

Merits
- Experience in building maintenance and infrastructure work.
- Experience working in a similar area within the Swedish Armed Forces.
- Good understanding of process development and change work.

- Knowledge of SAP systems.

The work also involves requirements for travel and duty, both domestic and international. The position is a civilian post and entails war-time placement.
