IT Business Analyst – Industry 4.0 (Gothenburg)

We are currently seeking an IT Business Analyst specializing in Industry 4.0 for our client, a leading player in the defense sector with advanced technology and production capabilities. About the Role

As an IT Business Analyst, you will become a key figure in the client's initiative for Industry 4.0 and the development of a smart factory where systems, data, and production are integrated.

You will work in a cross-functional team alongside experts in strategy, business intelligence, and production. The role carries significant responsibility, driving initiatives related to digitalization and improvement work, with a focus on connecting data from various systems with physical production.

You will collaborate closely with the business and other stakeholders, playing a central role in ensuring that production meets its goals and KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive initiatives within smart factory and Industry 4.0
• Develop and implement BI solutions linked to production and strategy
• Act as a strategic advisor for data-driven and digital initiatives
• Drive improvement projects that increase efficiency and reduce lead times
• Connect business data with actual production for better decision-making
• Lead and facilitate cross-functional collaborations

Qualifications

• Relevant higher education or equivalent experience
• Strong knowledge of IT systems and system architecture
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Qlik Sense, or similar
• Good proficiency in SQL and data analysis
• Understanding of ERP systems and business systems
• Experience working closely with operations or production
• Strong ability to collaborate and lead cross-functionally
• Very good command of English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience from manufacturing industry or production environments
• Experience with large-scale change or improvement projects
• Experience with IT governance and structural work
• Experience in developing digital business solutions
