Gothenburg City Mission is now looking for three labor market coordinators on an hourly basis for the Future Hub – a collaboration platform where the resident is at the center.

ABOUT US

The Future Hub is a local meeting place where people receive support on their path to work, studies, or entrepreneurship. Through close collaboration between Gothenburg City Mission, AB Framtiden, Gothenburg City, and local actors, we work to create hope for the future, participation, and self-sufficiency.

Our shared vision is that more Gothenburg residents should be able to support themselves and that Gothenburg in 2030 should not have any particularly vulnerable areas.

The Future Hubs are located in Bergsjön, Hammarkullen, Hjällbo, Lövgärdet, Biskopsgården, and Frölunda.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a labor market coordinator, you meet and coach residents based on their individual conditions and goals. You support people on their journey toward work, studies, or entrepreneurship and contribute to creating new opportunities through collaboration and networking.

In this role, you will, among other things:

• Coach and guide individuals toward work, studies, or entrepreneurship.
• Plan, execute, and participate in activities within the Future Hub.
• Coordinate collaborations with businesses, authorities, educational providers, and civil society.
• Contribute to developing the operations and creating new paths to self-sufficiency.

WHO ARE YOU?

We are looking for you who have an academic education or are studying to become, for example, a political scientist, HR professional, behavioral scientist, study and career counselor, occupational therapist, or another education that the employer deems equivalent.

As a person, you are:

• Communicative and relationship-building
• Flexible and solution-oriented
• Confident in meeting people in transition
• Engaged in societal issues and social sustainability

It is an advantage if you:

• Have experience of collaboration between the public sector, civil society, and business life.
• Have worked in socially vulnerable areas.
• Have experience of entrepreneurship or change management.
• Speak languages other than Swedish and English.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

Employment type: Hourly employment as needed.
