About the roleYou will step into a community-oriented organization where data protection work needs to be maintained alongside high quality in daily operational support. The role combines operational work and advisory services within GDPR, where you support the business with matters such as impact assessments, record of processing activities, information management, data subject rights, and personal data breaches.
You work closely with managers and other functions, drive issues independently, and help the business prioritize the right measures within current frameworks, processes, and governing documents. Here you will have an important role where your expertise makes a direct difference to the continuity of data protection work.
Responsibilities- You conduct and document data protection impact assessments.
- You work with records of processing activities and support the business in matters concerning data subject rights.
- You provide advisory support within information management and assist with personal data breaches when needed.
- You identify needs, propose measures, and help the business prioritize within the field of data protection.
- You collaborate with managers and relevant functions to ensure that the work follows internal frameworks, processes, and governing documents.
- Relevant post-secondary education in data protection/GDPR, law, or other equivalent education.
- At least three years of documented experience in qualified work within data protection/GDPR.
- Documented experience in conducting data protection impact assessments.
- Documented experience working with records of processing activities and data subject rights.
- Experience supporting businesses in matters regarding personal data breaches and information management.
- Fluent in Swedish (written and spoken).
- Experience with data protection work in municipalities, regions, authorities, or municipal companies.
- Experience with data protection issues in politically governed organizations or other public operations.
- Experience supporting the implementation or change of IT systems from a data protection perspective.
- Experience providing independent advice to managers and operations.
- Experience developing or creating internal routines, templates, or governing documents within the field of data protection.
- Law degree or other advanced education in data protection.
