Do you want a central role at the heart of our operations? We are looking for a versatile and driven Planning Administrator who wants to work with a variety of tasks ranging from decision support and economics to system administration and case management within the unit's leadership.

About the role

As a Planning Administrator with us, you will serve as a qualified operational support. You are a key person who ensures that administrative processes run efficiently, that decisions are well-founded, and that our systems and registers are up to date. The role requires you to handle many different areas of responsibility with high integrity and precision.

Main responsibilities

  • Operational support: Provide proactive administrative support to the unit management and employees to facilitate daily operations.
  • Meeting and decision support: Be responsible for planning, preparations, and minutes taking at meetings, as well as producing and quality-assuring materials for decisions.
  • Case management and Diarium: Manage the unit's information flow, including the registration, distribution, and archiving of public documents in accordance with the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act.
  • Personnel and economic administration: Prepare and quality-assure materials, reports, personnel and economic statements, or similar.
  • System administration: Be responsible for local administration and updating data in the Swedish Armed Forces' support systems, logistics reporting support at the unit level.

We are looking for someone who has:

Qualifications:

  • Upper secondary education with a focus on economics, administration, or social studies
  • Documented experience working with accounting materials and administrative flows
  • Good knowledge of the Office suite
  • Good spoken and written skills in both Swedish and English
  • Category B driver's license (manual transmission)

Merits

  • Relevant post-secondary education in public administration, economics, or political science
  • Experience working with diaries and case management systems
  • Very good Excel skills for compiling and analyzing data
  • Experience with the Swedish Armed Forces and understanding of military structure.
  • Experience in planning and coordination work within public operations.

Personal qualities:

We are looking for an analytical administrator driven by delivering correct materials on time. You have a logistical mindset and are accustomed to handling large amounts of information without compromising on details. The role requires you to be self-reliant, proactive, and have a high level of security awareness in your handling of personal and economic data. You are structured, can prioritize, and enjoy ensuring that things get done. You are easy to collaborate with and enjoy supporting others' work.

The Army Combat School educates officers and specialist officers, plans and conducts exercises, and trains combat units in advanced combat training facilities. In close cooperation with the Army Staff and other units, the Army Combat School develops standard units, capabilities, methods, and materiel.
