Administrative Coordinator for Adapted Primary School and Ängshagen School in Sala
We are now looking for an administrative coordinator with a placement in two principal areas: the Adapted Primary School and Ängshagen School. The Adapted Primary School (grades 1–9) is located at two schools, Åkraskolan and C-husskolan, which are situated at Kungsängen Upper Secondary School. At the adapted primary school, we have approximately 60 students and 40 employees. Ängshagen School is a preschool–grade 6 school with approximately 200 students and 30 employees. The distribution of the position is currently 60% at the adapted primary school and 40% at Ängshagen School. This means you will work three days at the adapted primary school and two days at Ängshagen School. Your direct manager will be the principal of the adapted primary school.
We offer you an exciting and responsible assignment where you support the principal and have the opportunity to contribute to school development.
Responsibilities
As an administrative coordinator, you play a central role in the school's administrative work. The assignment is characterized by cooperation and service, and tasks vary throughout the year with a focus on supporting the principals. You work closely with the principal, who is your direct manager, although assignments towards other school units may occur. The administrative staff at the school office collaborate closely and meet regularly at meetings coordinated by the administrative head of the school office.
The role is versatile and includes both administrative tasks and contact with staff, students, guardians, the general public, and authorities. You are an important part of the school's public face and provide leadership support in areas such as working environment, premises issues, and system administration. Tasks may also include quality reporting, substitute teacher management, school transport, student and personnel administration, scheduling, document management, case registration, minute taking, invoice processing, purchasing, as well as work with budgets, finance, and forecasts.
Qualifications
We are primarily looking for you with a university degree focused on economics, administration, or public administration. Alternatively, you have post-secondary education in these areas. We would like you to have experience working in administration and financial work. You have very good computer skills, are willing to learn new systems, and can work independently even during periods of high workload.
The assignment requires you to be structured, self-initiating, and able to drive processes forward. You need to have good analytical skills and be able to see the big picture in a complex assignment. The role is service-oriented and involves collaboration with both internal and external actors, which requires good social competence.
We value a working relationship based on cooperation and engagement in the development of the operations. With us, this means you collaborate well with your manager and colleagues, treat everyone with a high level of service and quality, are solution-oriented, and have the desire to develop and streamline work.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability and that your view of working relationships harmonizes with ours.
To manage the assignment, you need to have good communicative skills in spoken and written Swedish.
Terms of Employment
Permanent full-time position. Individual salary setting. Start date August 2026 or as agreed. Probationary period may apply.
A certificate of good conduct is required upon offer of employment. This is according to the Act on Register Control in School, After-School Center, and Preschool Activities. The Swedish Police Authority's criminal record register, RPS 442.5 (14-01-14).
