Responsibilities

In the role of Business Developer IT, you have a central function in coordinating, developing, and improving our IT-related working methods and solutions. You work closely with the operations and act as a link between needs and technical solutions.

Your main responsibilities include:

• IT operations and line support
• Coordination of internal and external IT processes
• Dialogue and coordination with external partners, including suppliers
• Ensuring integration and coordination between Folktandvården Västmanlands AB and Region Västmanland IT environments
• Leading and conducting preliminary studies within IT and digitalization to produce structured and well-founded decision support for major IT changes
• Participating in the development and implementation of new IT solutions, including considerations regarding system architecture, information security, and data protection

You will become part of a small group where we work closely together with great flexibility. The role offers varied work with ample opportunity to influence and develop the operations.

About the Workplace

Folktandvården Västmanland AB is owned by Region Västmanland and has seventeen general dental clinics in all municipalities in the county. We collaborate closely with the Specialist Dental Clinics at Västmanland Hospital in Västerås.

Here, you will encounter a broad and complex operation with a high rate of change, where digitalization is a key enabler. Our focus is on good treatment, high quality, and a clear patient perspective in everything we do.

The internal IT organization currently consists of system administrators, application consultants, and senior advisors, led by the Development Manager for Digital Interactions. We have a close collaboration with Region Västmanland's Administration for Digitalization Support.

Qualifications

You who apply for this assignment have relevant education in IT, such as systems science or equivalent. For the position, it is also meritorious if you have:

• Experience working with IT and digitalization within dental and/or healthcare
• Knowledge and/or special interest in information security and data protection

As a person, you find it easy to collaborate in both small and large groups. You are approachable, good at building relationships, and communicate effortlessly in speech and writing. Furthermore, we value precision and quality in your work, and that you work in a structured manner.

Employment Terms

Permanent full-time position. Probation period may apply.
