Your Role

We are looking for you to step into the role of Controller within the Aeronautics division. We are on a strong growth journey, and your expertise will make a significant difference in driving progress and profitability. Today, our team consists of over 20 employees who share a strong and supportive cohesion.

As a Controller, you will become part of our crucial execution team, responsible for analysis, reporting, closing, and forecasting. You will work independently but remain part of a team characterized by excellent collaboration, where we support each other and work without hierarchy towards the common goal of improving operations.

In your role, you are expected to understand and monitor the business and its operations to maintain constant control over their development. You will be an active member of one of the area's management groups and work closely with the area's managers to best support them in financial decisions and questions, thereby contributing to profitability. In addition to the above, the role involves:

• Driving analyses of profit development and creating the basis for improvements and securing set goals.
• Contributing to the development of the business's profitability mindset and increasing understanding of the built-in business mechanisms in often relatively complex flows.
• Being a driving force in financial follow-up, closing, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Supporting project managers in project follow-up and project control.

The operations are primarily located in Arboga and Linköping (Malmslätt), with both locations being possible for placement. Travel between the two locations occurs on a regular basis.

Your Profile

We believe you thrive in a business-oriented environment where you actively contribute a high level of service and find it easy to collaborate with others. To thrive in the Controller role, you need to be able to structure your tasks, be proactive, and have the drive and desire to develop within financial management and business processes.

We believe you have:

• A degree in Economics (Civilekonom) or equivalent education.
• Several years of experience working as a Controller or with similar tasks.
• Experience in project follow-up and financial planning, as this requires a deep understanding of both financial aspects and project management.
• Very good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

It is meritorious if you have experience with the financial systems Unit4/Agresso, Mercur, and IFS, as well as good proficiency in Excel.

The position requires you to undergo and pass the security clearance checks according to current regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
