VSK Fotboll is in the midst of one of the most exciting development journeys in Swedish elite football. We have broken records in attendance, partner revenue, and engagement. We have established ourselves as one of Västerås's strongest meeting places and continue to grow both sportingly and commercially. But we are far from satisfied. We are now looking for a Communications Manager who wants to take the next step with us.

This is not a role for someone who is content with publishing content according to a plan. We are looking for you who want to create stories that touch people, build relationships, and contribute to making VSK Fotboll one of Sweden's most interesting and professional sports brands.

As Communications Manager, you will have overall responsibility for VSK Fotboll's communications.

You will own the strategy, hold the communicative work together, and ensure that everything from matches and player interviews to community projects and partnerships is told in a way that engages people.

You will work closely with the Club Director, commercial operations, the sports organization, and our partners. At the same time, you will have great freedom to develop methods, formats, and content that strengthen both the brand and the business.

Examples of areas of responsibility

• Develop and drive VSK Fotboll's communications strategy
• Responsible for the club's communication channels and content planning
• Write articles, news, interviews, and press materials
• Develop stories around players, coaches, partners, and operations
• Project manage and coordinate communication efforts within the organization
• Strengthen the relationship with supporters, partners, and the outside world
• Contribute to developing VSK Fotboll's brand locally, regionally, and nationally

We believe you have experience in both strategic and operational communications work. Perhaps you currently work as a Communications Manager, Communicator, PR Specialist, or Content Manager. Regardless of background, you have understood that truly strong communication is about people, relationships, and stories.

• Have experience with digital communication and social media
• Have the ability to combine strategy with operational execution
• Are accustomed to driving projects forward and creating structure
• Have a good understanding of brand building
• Are self-motivated, proactive, and humble

An interest in football or sports is highly meritorious, but most importantly, you are driven by creating engagement and development.
