We are looking for an accountant/authorized accounting consultant for a central role in an organization with several business areas, responsible for ensuring that the financial work functions stably, correctly, and efficiently.

The position is part-time (50%).

About the role

As an accountant/accounting consultant, you will work broadly with ongoing financial tasks and be responsible for ensuring that bookkeeping, accounting, payroll, and reporting function well. The role is operational and close to the business, focusing on handling and coordinating the various parts of the finance function in daily work.

You will work closely with the CEO and contribute with financial data, follow-ups, and practical support in budgeting and planning. This role suits you if you thrive with responsibility, independence, and variety, and want to contribute to further developing methods and routines where needed.

Your responsibilities

Ongoing finance and payroll

• Responsibility for ongoing bookkeeping (approx. 4,000 vouchers/year), accounts receivable/payable, bank reconciliations, Z-reports, customer invoices, and sales of gift cards
• Allocations and follow-up per cost center
• Payroll administration for 25 employees
• Ensuring functioning routines and approval flows
• VAT and employer declarations
• Payments of supplier invoices and salaries

Education and experience

A university degree in economics or authorization as an accounting consultant is required. Several years of experience working as an accountant/authorized accounting consultant is advantageous.

• Experience with independent accounting
• Confident in monthly closing
• Experience with payroll management
• Good system proficiency. We use Fortnox.
• Structured, meticulous, and analytical
• Thrives in a role with both responsibility and independence

It is advantageous (sometimes a requirement) if you have previously worked in a broad financial role or had responsibility for several parts of finance and administration. We also believe you will appreciate working in a smaller organization where you become an important part of the whole and where your work is visible.

Closing and reporting

• Prepare monthly financial statements and financial data for the CEO/owners
• Prepare annual reports and annual accounts
• Handle VAT, employer, and income tax declarations

Budget and follow-up

• Participate in budgeting together with the CEO/owners
• Follow up results per business area and liquidity
• Prepare results, forecasts, and simpler analyses as support for the business
• Contribute to developing and improving financial routines
• Act as contact person for bank, auditor, and authorities
• Advisory services

• Employment type: Permanent position with a 6-month probation period
• Scope: Part-time (50%)
• Salary: According to agreement
• Start date: According to agreement. Preference for August 1st if possible.

We have approximately 25 permanent employees, with more staff during the high season.
