About the School

Metapontum Primary School is an independent school (grades F-9) with approximately 570 students. The school offers profiles in music and mathematics, as well as a nationally recruited advanced mathematics program for grades 7–9. The school is located in a beautiful cultural center in the middle of Långbro Park in Älvsjö. Students are surrounded by a safe and harmonious environment close to nature, in one of Stockholm's most beautiful park idylls. About the Job

For the academic year 2026/2027, we are looking for an experienced certified teacher for our Special Needs Education Group (SU) on a 100% basis.

We are looking for you with broad subject qualifications and competence in neuropsychiatric diagnoses, low-affective interaction, and clear pedagogy. Our SU group consists of students from several grade levels, and you plan and conduct teaching in the group based on each student's need for both support and challenges. You adapt methods and materials to each individual in the group and maintain close dialogue with the students' guardians and school staff.

Work in regular school operations may also occur if needed.

As a person, you are calm, clear, and relationship-building. You have the ability to create structure in teaching and meet students with a low-affective and respectful approach. You are flexible, solution-focused, and thrive in team settings.

We also see you as a pedagogical and clear leader who is engaged, flexible, and proactive. We assume that your goal is to create a developing, positive, and safe learning environment for your students. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. Great emphasis will be placed on experience, personal qualities, and suitability.
