French School is a Swedish non-profit independent school with roots dating back to 1862. We follow the Swedish national curriculum, instruction is conducted in Swedish, and students begin learning French from pre-school class. Prior knowledge of French is not a requirement but offers a fantastic opportunity for those who thrive in an international environment. We are looking for a certified teacher of Swedish and English for our upper secondary level (high school). We are seeking someone who is passionate about teaching and developing students' abilities, as well as preparing them for life and the future. You have strong leadership skills, pedagogical insight, and view collaboration with colleagues as a given. You are structured, flexible, and self-motivated. You are familiar with the school's governing documents and have the ability to individualize and differentiate instruction based on the student's and group's prerequisites.

Other details: Additional qualifications include being certified in Swedish as a Second Language (SvA). The position is 75–100%. We apply a six-month probationary period. This is a substitute/relief position. Start date: Autumn term 2026.
