Do you want to make a difference for students every day? At Töjnaskolan, we are looking for three dedicated resource pedagogues who have started or completed a teacher education and who wish to contribute to a safe, inclusive, and developmental school environment.
In this role, you will have a holiday position with tasks both within the school and the leisure center. You will become an important part of our work to create good conditions for students' learning, development, and well-being.
In the role, you work closely with students, teachers, and other staff to strengthen students' knowledge development, social interaction, and independence. You provide support to individual students and student groups both during lessons and during other parts of the school day. You also contribute to creating safety, study quietness, and an accessible learning environment where all students are given the opportunity to succeed.
The responsibilities include among other things:
- Supporting students based on their individual needs.
- Participating in teaching together with the responsible teacher.
- Supporting students during transitions, breaks, meals, and other situations during the school day.
- Working relationally and preventively to promote safety and participation.
- Collaborating with teachers, student health services, guardians, and other staff regarding students' development and support needs.
- Being involved in the school's work with language-strengthening initiatives during school holidays.
As a resource pedagogue at Töjnaskolan, you will also contribute to the school's language and knowledge development work. During school holidays, you participate in the planning and implementation of language-strengthening activities aimed at strengthening students' language development through reading, communication, play, and meaningful learning situations.
We are looking for you who have started or completed a teacher education with a focus on leisure centers, grades F–3, 4–6, or 7–9. You have a good ability to build trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues, as well as good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
It is meritorious if you have experience working with students in need of special support, knowledge of NPF (Neurodevelopmental Disorders), low-affective management, and inclusive learning environments, as well as experience with language and knowledge development methods.
At Töjnaskolan, we are guided by our keywords: Knowledge, Responsibility, and Curiosity. We work together to create a school where students feel safe, develop good knowledge, and are given the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Welcome to Sollentuna – a municipality in the midst of opportunities! Together we make Sollentuna better every day for our residents, businesses, and organizations. We have clear and ambitious goals to create safety, welfare, and sustainable growth.
