Do you want to be part of developing the procurement operations of the future in one of Sweden's most high-tech and complex industrial environments? We are now looking for a Senior Business Developer within Procurement for a consultancy assignment with our client in the defense industry.

This is a role for you who thrives at the intersection of operations, process development, and change management, and who wants to contribute to creating efficient, sustainable, and business-oriented procurement processes in an organization with international collaborations and high demands for quality, structure, and long-term focus.

About the Assignment

As a Senior Business Developer, you will become an important part of the procurement organization's continued development journey. You will work closely with the business to identify areas for improvement, drive change initiatives, and ensure that processes, working methods, and follow-up support the organization's strategic goals.

The role involves many contact surfaces and close collaboration with procurement leadership, category managers, business representatives, and other key functions. You are expected to contribute both a strategic perspective and operational execution capability.

Responsibilities

In the role, you will among other things:

• Lead and drive business development and improvement projects within the procurement area.
• Identify efficiency opportunities and develop working methods, processes, and routines.
• Compile, analyze, and communicate KPIs and business follow-up to various stakeholders.
• Support the business in change work and implementation of new working methods.
• Contribute specialist competence in procurement processes, control, regulations, and relevant tools.
• Ensure that procurement operations work in a structured manner and in line with the organization's goals.
• Collaborate with national and international supplier networks as well as internal stakeholders.
• Participate in the development of methods for follow-up, process improvement, and business control.

We are looking for someone who has

• Documented senior experience in business development within procurement or supply chain.
• Experience leading improvement projects, change work, and business development initiatives.
• Good proficiency in creating, analyzing, and presenting KPIs and business data.
• Understanding of procurement processes, control models, regulations, and tools related to procurement operations.
• Experience working in larger organizations with complex supplier structures.
• Experience with international supplier relations and global collaborations.
• Good communication skills and experience collaborating with many different stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, drive issues forward, and create results.

Meritorious

• Experience from the defense industry, manufacturing industry, or other regulated operations.
• Experience with process mapping, business control, or change management.
• Experience with procurement systems, analysis tools, and BI solutions.
