Your new job

As an expert, you will have a central role in the work with compulsory schooling, special support, and adapted school forms. You will work closely with principals, student health services, guardians, and external actors, becoming an important part of creating legally secure, equal, and sustainable solutions for children and students in close collaboration with the leadership of the Education Administration.

You will among other things

• process and prepare cases regarding supplementary allowances, adapted school forms, and compulsory schooling.
• work with follow-up, statements, agreements, and quality assurance.
• collaborate with schools, guardians, and external parties on complex issues.
• contribute to development work, budget follow-up, and equal resource distribution.

Your profile

We are looking for you who

have experience in qualified case processing, investigation, or authority enforcement within the education sector. You have a good understanding of the school's governing documents and regulations regarding compulsory schooling, special support, and adapted school forms. Experience from municipal administration, student health services, or similar operations is meritorious.

You are structured, analytical, and confident in complex issues. You collaborate well, communicate clearly, and express yourself well in speech and writing. We value that you are proactive, solution-oriented, and want to contribute to development.

A B-class driver's license is a requirement.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with an appropriate academic degree who has knowledge of and experience with the education system, with a special focus on preschool, school, and after-school centers, as well as their governance. You should have good knowledge of children and students in need of special support, and preferably previous experience of authority enforcement and case processing.

Since the position involves own budget responsibility, ability and experience in making independent decisions, maintaining budgets, making forecasts, and following up on allocated resources is expected. From the authority's perspective, you need to have good knowledge of current legislation and other regulations covering the area of the education board.

Terms of employment

For this role, the starting salary is normally between 44,000–56,000 SEK depending on experience and competence. In some cases, more senior candidates may be offered a higher salary within the role's total range.
