ABOUT THE POSITION

At Kura Omsorg, we are looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant for our client in Trollhättan. The position is a temporary hourly vacancy where you work as needed, for example when regular staff is absent.

Working hours are as follows:

• 07:00 - 18:00 Weekdays

• 18:00 - 07:00 Weekdays, awake night

• 08:00 - 19:00 Weekends

• 19:00 - 08:00 Weekends, awake night

Start date is by agreement, and we would prefer that you can start onboarding immediately.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is a cheerful young woman in her 20s living just outside Trollhättan. She needs your help as a personal assistant, as she has cerebral palsy and epilepsy. You will support her with everything in her daily life, including basic needs and communication, as well as participating in various activities. Duties may include support during daily training, play, walks, bathing, personal hygiene, tube feeding, and other care.

We are looking for someone who is confident in themselves and has a big heart. You are sensitive to her needs, genuine, positive, and engaged in her assistance and quality of life. As her assistant, you will be an important person in her life, and it is required that you are interested, involved, and responsible. You want to add a golden touch to her existence and help her with what is needed for her to have a valuable daily life. Our client requests only female assistants.

REQUIREMENTS

• Class B driver's license and access to a car, as the workplace is located a bit outside Trollhättan

• No fur allergies, as there is a cat in the home

• No allergy to chlorinated water, as swimming is part of her activities

• Non-smoker

BENEFICIAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with cerebral palsy

• Experience with tube feeding

• Experience with communication using pictures and signs

Employment level: Temporary hourly vacancy

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with collective agreements.

Due to the fact that the position may involve solo work, night work, and tasks that according to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations (AFS 2012:3) cannot be performed by minors, you must be at least 18 years old to work as a personal assistant.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you must present an extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new rules apply meaning that the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order well in advance.
