As an early childhood educator at Pysslingen Preschools, you help bring our promise of 'A safe and stimulating world full of opportunities' to life for children, guardians, and employees alike.

We are looking for you who, together with us, want to continue making our preschool even better! Nygatan Preschool is centrally located in Norrtälje, and together with the children, we often explore the surrounding area, such as museums, parks, forest areas, theaters, and libraries. Knowledge and learning are created together with curious children and engaged educators.

We encourage play, exploration, and joy in movement to give children the opportunity to develop a sustainable lifestyle. Our preschool is located in a K-listed two-story building from the 1700s, has a cozy small courtyard, and educators with a flexible approach. At our place, it should be safe, educational, and fun for the children to go to preschool! It is important that you, who want to work as an early childhood educator with us, feel curiosity and drive for your task.

About the Role

We value drive and curiosity in your role as an early childhood educator. A day at the preschool is filled with various interactions between children and educators. Each interaction is significant and part of the child's safety, development, and learning.

We expect you to have good knowledge of how to pedagogically reflect on and document children's learning. Our working method is to divide the children into smaller groups throughout the day, which contributes to the children's well-being, development, and learning. This means you are responsible for carrying out and documenting the planned teaching that you have done together with your work team.

Practical Requirements

• You must have an education as an early childhood educator, a upper secondary education within the care program, child and youth, or other education deemed equivalent.
• You have knowledge of children's development, rights, and needs.
• You need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing. If you also have computer skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, it is an advantage.
• You must be able to work varying hours, including opening and closing duties.

• You have the ability to work independently as well as showing good cooperation skills with others.
• You should be calm, attentive, and accommodating in your interaction with colleagues, children, and guardians.

Employment Type

• The position is a fixed-term employment until the end of June 2027.
• Scope 75% to 100%.
• Start date August 10th.
• The position is located in Norrtälje.
