It must be a given that the facilities receiving individuals with such a vulnerable life situation that they require 24-hour placement have the highest density of competent treatment resources and take active responsibility for using evidence-based methods, thorough follow-up, while simultaneously keeping costs for society as low as possible.

Your new workplace

WeMind Individual & Family operates residential care homes (HVB), school activities, outpatient care, a CBT clinic, as well as education and supervision. Currently, we run four residential care homes: two for boys aged 14-18 in Gålö and Tyresö, one for girls aged 14-18 in Vendelsö, and one for both boys and girls in Partille. We are now looking for a driven and good team player for Gålö. HVB Gålö is divided into three houses (treatment units) with a total of 23 places.

The target group is shared, where the placed youths have psychosocial problems such as difficulties in family relationships, school absenteeism, isolation issues, and/or behavioral problems like defiance, acting out, or self-harm. Challenges related to substance abuse and crime are not part of our target group, and we can offer completely drug-free environments to thrive and grow in. We specialize in providing qualified, evidence-based psychiatric interventions, and our interventions are therefore particularly suitable when mental illness underlies the aforementioned difficulties. Depression, suicidal thoughts, problems with food and eating, anxiety issues, and psychotic symptoms are common in the youth group.

We carry out all interventions with our own staff and have extensive experience in creating individual solutions for neuropsychiatric disabilities. Our therapeutic interventions are performed by psychologists specializing in CBT who work full-time in the operation, allowing us to offer a unique setup for intensive on-site treatment. Each youth also has a responsible social worker who works with the network of school-home-social services. We are proud to present a very ambitious and competence-intensive care setup at WeMind.

Working as a Social Worker at WeMind HVB

As a social worker, you are responsible for a number of youth cases and work closely with psychologists, treatment assistants, youths, guardians, and social services. You are responsible for planning, coordinating, and following up on interventions during all phases of the placement.

Our treatment work is based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and you will receive training and supervision in the method.

About you

We are now looking for a graduated social worker who is interested in joining our work group. Here, you get the chance to work with highly specialized colleagues in a lovely and close-knit work environment. You will receive training and supervision for our treatment methods focusing on ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis). We do not expect you to be an expert in ABA before you start, but that you have the will and curiosity to learn more about it.

• Hold a degree in Social Work
• Have a B driver's license
• Are engaged, structured, and relationship-building
• Enjoy collaboration and team work

It is an advantage if you have experience from social services, psychiatry, school, or residential care.

• Employment type: Permanent position with a 6-month probation period.
