Here you will have the opportunity to work preventively and promotively to strengthen the protective factors for our young Stockholmers and reduce risk factors. You will become part of Kungsholmen's safety work and collaborate with schools, social services, police, youth clubs, and the city's other field assistants.

As a field assistant, you are part of the preventive and promotional area. This also includes parent reception, intake groups, social secretaries at the police station, SSPF coordinators, school social teams, leisure activities, and playgrounds. The area is led by two unit managers and one area manager.

This is a temporary position between August and December 31, 2026.

Your role

As a field assistant, you will work proactively and on young people's arenas, both during the day and in the evenings. You will lead school lecture series, host meetings with guardians and other adults, and participate in structured parent support programs. You will also attend parent meetings and collaborate with other actors in society. The field group consists of three field assistants.

Your qualifications and experience

We are looking for you who have a degree in social work (socionom).

It is an advantage if you have knowledge and experience of:

• ABC-teen or Comet-teen
• Machofabriken or similar method lectures
• ROS (Respect and self-respect)
• rePULSE

To thrive in this assignment, you need to be good at communicating and listening. You are outgoing and have a good ability to speak in front of larger groups and easily build good relationships with children, young people, and various collaboration partners. You also have a good ability to independently structure, plan, and drive your work forward.
