About the job

Your work as a personal assistant includes providing support in personal care and daily chores at home. As a personal assistant, you have the opportunity to get to know a person and together make every day meaningful and unique. You work closely with a user and are a support in their daily life. The work is independent, and you follow the user's instructions and needs in the moment.

Your tasks may include among other things:

• Mobility – helping the user move between bed, wheelchair, car, or other positions in a safe and ergonomic way.
• Cooking – preparing, cooking, and sometimes planning meals based on the user's preferences.
• Shopping – accompanying the user to shop or making purchases on their behalf.
• Walks – being a support during outdoor stays, walks, and other activities.
• Support in daily routines – doing what the user themselves says you should do and adapting to their needs and daily condition.

The work is about creating security, being attentive, and contributing to a functional and meaningful daily life.

About you

We are looking for you who have at least a high school education. Previous experience working as a personal assistant and/or nursing education is meritorious but not a requirement.

You are patient, secure, and responsible, and have a professional attitude. You provide good treatment and have understanding for the user's needs and conditions. The work requires that you are flexible and compliant, as no day is like the other.

You have good cooperation skills and the ability to establish and maintain good relationships with colleagues, relatives, and other actors. Great importance is attached to personal suitability. You master Swedish in speech and writing and have basic computer skills, as documentation and communication are important parts of the work.

The working hours are variable and may include days, evenings, and night shifts. The extent of the positions is approx. 73%.
