About Us
The Mora Park Foundation is a non-profit organization that operates a school and LSS (Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) housing for children with various functional variations.
Mora Park School has 22 students in regular and adapted primary school, grades 1–9. The school has a high adult-to-student ratio, with all staff working closely with our students.
Mora Park LSS Housing offers housing for children and young people according to Section 8 of Chapter 9 of the LSS Act in Järna and Hölö. The school is located in Järna, directly adjacent to our housing facilities.
About the Job
We are looking for an engaged leisure-time leader (fritidsledare) or leisure-time pedagogue with experience in coordination, who wants to help develop our leisure-time activities. The position starts on August 11.
In this role, you will combine pedagogical work in the leisure-time program with a coordinating responsibility for the leisure-time group.
Responsibilities
- Plan, implement, and follow up on leisure-time activities based on the students' needs.
- Coordinate the leisure-time group in daily work.
- Guide and support colleagues in the work team.
- Work actively with responsibility, clarity, and relationship-building.
- Collaborate with school staff, guardians, and external actors.
- Contribute to the development and quality assurance of the activities.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is educated as a leisure-time leader, leisure-time pedagogue, or has equivalent education.
- Has experience working in adapted primary school or with children/young people in need of special support.
- Has documented experience in coordinating work teams.
- Has experience and a good ability to create structure, security, and good relationships.
- Is flexible, solution-focused, and responsible.
It is an advantage if you:
- Have knowledge of Neurodevelopmental Disorders (NPF) and low-affective handling (calm, non-reactive approach).
