About Us

This autumn, we are a school with approximately 410 students in grades F-8, where the secondary school section is gradually expanding one grade at a time. The school is located with Edsviken and Ulriksdal Palace Park right on the doorstep, meaning we are close to nature but only 12 minutes by subway to central Stockholm.

What does the job entail?

The position is a substitute teaching role in grade 6 for a teacher who is studying, involving mentorship and teaching in two classes where you and the other mentor in the grade complement each other in your subject qualifications. In our school development, we have focused on accessible learning for several years and see collaboration as the key to shared learning and improved student outcomes. Moving forward, we aim to work even more preventively and promotively with safety work while developing the digital competence of our students.

Together with other teachers, you are responsible for the pedagogical operations. You will be part of a work team that designs and develops the operations and lays a good foundation for student development. The role includes all aspects related to your subjects, from developing ideas and planning work to creating and evaluating the work. You conduct lessons, pedagogical documentation, and strive to create a safe and welcoming environment where all students feel seen. In our school development, we focus on accessible learning and see collaboration as the key to shared learning and improved student outcomes.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who

• is a certified teacher for grades 4-6 with qualifications to teach in Swedish/Mathematics/Natural Sciences
• has experience working as a teacher
• is well-versed in all parts of the curriculum and other relevant regulatory documents
• is familiar with digital tools that you use creatively in teaching as well as for your own planning, follow-up, and documentation
• has experience working with student documentation such as pedagogical assessments and Individual Educational Plans (IEP)
• is proficient in Swedish in both speech and writing.

As a person, you are sensitive to the students' needs, clear, respectful, and have a great ability to collaborate with students, guardians, and colleagues. You have a good ability to plan, organize, and prioritize effectively. You are interested in driving the development of the school and students forward, you can capture the students' attention, and create participation and motivation in various activities. You are a secure person with good pedagogical insight who can lead groups and individuals.

You have, just like us, a great commitment and a desire to develop together with colleagues and students. Your leadership is rooted in the belief that all students can and want to develop, and you have the ability to create situations where students succeed.
