The Role and Responsibilities

We at Malmsjö School in Vårsta/Grödinge are looking for a subject-qualified and licensed primary school teacher in Swedish and Social Studies for grades 6-9.

As a teacher at Malmsjö School, you have overall responsibility for the planning, implementation, and follow-up of teaching in your subjects. You work purposefully to create an accessible and inspiring learning environment.

The position also includes mentorship for a student group in the lower secondary school. This means you will become a key figure in the students' daily lives. You will monitor the students' knowledge development, support their social growth, and maintain a close, trusting dialogue with both students and guardians.

Who You Are

Requirements: We are looking for you who have a teaching license and the qualification to teach Swedish and Social Studies for the relevant grade levels (this is an absolute requirement for the position).

We are looking for you who have a few years of experience working in lower secondary school.

We are looking for you who can express yourself fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

Merits: Experience working in V-classes and DF (Digital Fox) is meritorious.

As Botkyrka Municipality uses Google Classroom, we would appreciate it if you have experience working with Google tools.

As a person, you are interested in staying updated and are at the forefront in your professional role. You are relationship-building and collaborative to ensure the needs of the individual and the organization are met. You also need to be structured to deliver high-quality teaching.
