Your Responsibilities

Omniglot is currently looking for a Native Language Teacher in Wolof at approx. 20%, starting in week 34 of August.

As a native language teacher, you will teach children and young people in your native language at various primary schools across Stockholm County. This is a traveling position, which involves significant commuting and therefore requires flexibility. No travel compensation is provided. For this role, you currently need to be available for at least 2 afternoons per week and one morning.

Your responsibilities include:

• Planning and conducting native language lessons;
• Managing student attendance;
• Email communication with guardians;
• Grading and providing assessments;
• Reporting working hours and maintaining close contact with Omniglot's central office;
• Participating in professional development together with other teaching colleagues.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who:

• Lives in the Stockholm area;
• Has Wolof as their native language;
• Speaks and writes Swedish fluently;
• Is proficient with computers;
• Is attentive to students' needs and interests;
• Is flexible and enjoys collaborating with colleagues, guardians, and school staff.

Teaching experience is an advantage.
