Music School Lilla Akademien offers a unique music education where a strong musical profile is integrated into all activities. With music at the center, we work with a holistic view of each student. The school has an integrated character with many different nationalities among students and staff.

We are looking for a music teacher for our weekend course Lilla Piccola for children aged 4-5 years without parents

Course Structure:

The course Lilla Piccola is aimed at children between 4-5 years old. It includes teaching in fairy tale singing, dance, and music. There is a 15-minute large group gathering with all three groups of children (approx. 14 children per group). This is followed by 30-minute sessions in each of the subjects: fairy tale singing, dance, and music. After two 30-minute sessions, there is a 15-minute break before the final 30-minute session.

During music lessons, notes, nuances, rhythm, and form come alive through examples drawn from the children's world. Through play with the building blocks of music, children develop an understanding and intuitive feel for music. Through the interplay between music, dance, and fairy tale singing, encounters arise that can enhance the children's expression. Each year we base our work on Lilla Akademiens theme; this year the theme is Bridges.

The course takes place on weekends between 09:00-16:00 for 12 weeks in autumn and 12 weeks in spring. Planned course start is the last weekend in August 2025.

We are looking for you who have experience working with children and young people, preferably in small groups of children aged 4-5 years. You enjoy working both independently and in a group, and find it easy to collaborate with both children and parents.
