Campus Manilla is now seeking a certified French teacher for grades 6–9 in the compulsory school system and for upper secondary school. The position is a permanent full-time role, with teaching hours evenly distributed between compulsory school and upper secondary school, starting August 10, 2026, or as agreed.

About You

We are looking for someone who is passionate about preparing students in the best possible way for the future. You are clear in your leadership and driven to create high-quality teaching that is adapted to each student's prerequisites and needs. You combine strong subject knowledge with the ability to build good relationships, and together with families, you promote the student's holistic development. Through varied teaching methods, you create engagement for learning. You clearly communicate goals and standards, providing students with feedback that drives their learning forward.

As a colleague, you are reflective and unpretentious, actively driving collaboration with peers to develop teaching and the school's operations.

Responsibilities

You will teach French in grades 6–9 of the compulsory school system and at the upper secondary level.

As a teacher at Campus Manilla, you are responsible for planning, conducting, and evaluating student learning. At Campus Manilla, we apply grading starting from grade 4. You lead learning in the classroom and ensure that students achieve the goals in their subjects. You are part of a work team and collaborate with your colleagues regarding student learning and the development of the school.

As a French teacher, you do not have a mentorship role. Instead, you have slightly more teaching time, allowing you to follow all students' progression in French throughout their entire journey from grade 6 until they finish upper secondary school. You collaborate with guardians and students and actively work on group-building and motivation-enhancing tasks. We are looking for you who puts students, knowledge goals, and curiosity first. To succeed in the teacher role at Campus Manilla, you need to have natural drive, be an open person who sees new exciting possibilities in learning, and be a skilled relationship builder who creates team spirit and has a genuine interest in your subjects and the school's value base.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher in French. You are structured, clear, and relationship-oriented, with the ability to collaborate closely with both teachers and student health services. You have a professional approach and work solution-focused with the student's development at the center.

Other Information

Permanent position with a 6-month probationary period according to the Almega independent school agreement. Start date: August 10, 2026, or as agreed.

About Us

Campus Manilla is operated by the politically and religiously independent foundation Carpe Scientia. The school is run entirely without profit motive and aims to develop into Sweden's best school. In our beautiful premises on Djurgården, we offer both compulsory school and upper secondary school. Campus Manilla has a total of approximately 800 students from preschool class to the third year of upper secondary school, and approximately 110 employees.
