Do you want to work together with curious students, engaged colleagues, and school leadership? If so, you are welcome to join us at Loviselundsskolan. We are an intercultural school (grades F-6) with an adapted primary school for approximately 40 students out of a total of approximately 360 students. The school is surrounded by beautiful natural areas and is close to the subway in Hässelby Gård. The school is divided into several school buildings around a large and a small schoolyard, both inviting to good learning environments.

Your role

We are looking for you who want to take on the exciting challenge of continuing to develop our operations within the adapted primary school with commitment and drive. You will teach students in both subjects and subject areas. Our student groups are divided by stage into lower and middle school levels.

• You plan, conduct, and evaluate students' education and development. You lead the class resources working in the class, have ongoing contact with guardians, habilitation services, social services, as well as colleagues and school leadership.
• You handle documentation for the students and are well-versed in the school's governing documents. You are responsible for ensuring that general and extra adjustments are implemented and evaluated for students who need them.
• You contribute to giving students the guidance and stimulation they need in their learning and personal development. This is so that, based on their own prerequisites, they can develop as far as possible.
• By identifying and utilizing all signs of progress, individual adaptation is facilitated, and you ensure that the most effective methods are used so that every student succeeds.
• With your solution-focused approach, you have a positive attitude and see it as your responsibility to create good and sustainable relationships with the students and their guardians, as well as with colleagues and school leadership.

Your qualifications and experience

We are looking for you who have high expectations for students' goal achievement, good pedagogical insight, and are clear and engaged to bring out the best in students. You who apply:

• are a certified teacher with special pedagogical competence, a special needs teacher, or a special educator. It is an advantage if you have training in IF (Individual Focus).
• have well-documented experience working within the adapted primary school.
• are well-versed in TAKK (Signs as support for communication), AKK (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), and digital learning and assistive tools.
• have experience in how to best adapt teaching and the learning environment for our target group.
• have good collaboration skills, work well in teams, are proactive, and see the whole picture for each student.
