Högstadium Centrum is located at the park oasis Plantis in Falköping. The school has approximately 640 students and just over 90 staff members. We are collaborating with the secondary schools Odenvi and Kinnarp as the plan is to create a new organization for the secondary schools in central Falköping. It will be a fun and forward-looking process to be part of shaping the future secondary school in Falköping.

What does the role entail?

As a teaching assistant, you work as a flexible and service-oriented support function for our teachers. The teacher always controls the content and implementation, while you are the resource that makes it possible to "fine-tune" the conditions for teaching even further.

Your responsibilities include:

• Contributing practically and in a teaching-related manner to enable teaching activities planned by teachers.
• Assisting teachers and mentors in making adjustments for students so they can succeed in their learning.
• Guiding teachers/students in the use of various learning tools.
• Assisting teachers with simpler grading tasks and documentation of results.
• Assisting teachers with preparatory work before the start of the school year and follow-up work at the end of the school year.
• On behalf of the school leadership, assisting with other student-related tasks.

We want all students at the school to feel safe and comfortable so they can learn and feel a sense of belonging with the staff and other students. All students want to succeed, and we work to meet each individual student. As a teaching assistant, you have the opportunity to make a difference for the students you meet.

We are looking for you who have a genuine interest in young people, have a good manner of dealing with others, and find it easy to build strong relationships with both students, guardians, and colleagues.

• Have good knowledge of implementing adjustments for young people in need of support.
• Have experience working with students within the NPF (Neurodevelopmental Disorders) spectrum.
• Are a responsible, clear, and secure adult with a positive attitude.
• Are flexible and thrive in a changing and dynamic school environment.

Since the assignment is demanding and our group dynamic is very important to us, we will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
